The life of an NHL referee is thankless and intense. Each team thinks you are against them and each fan base believes you are being paid to determine a favorable outcome for the other side. Never is there more venom hurled at an official than during a disputed goal where the on-ice men dressed like zebra huddle around an iPad trying to determine if an infraction should take a goal off of the scoreboard. When a goal is confirmed, it’s termed a “Good Goal!”

Innocence follows false expectations in relationships for women: permissiveness, lack of emotional baggage, and traditional femininity are harmful interpretations and limit women’s roles in relationships and society. The condescending men view innocent women as gullible, easily manipulated, and potentially unintelligent. While the informed see the exact opposite.

Every Wednesday at Ortakent Pazari in Bodrum a farmers market rises from the sea-side city streets revealing the freshest fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and spices guaranteed to make a Turkish kitchen into a culinary delight. On this day, oranges were the fruit of choice with one local farmer centering himself amongst thousands or the delicious spheres. He was sold out in 30 minutes.
